Lee Soon Kie, Group CEO, IFS Capital Limited

Prior to his appointment as the CEO of IFS, Soon Kie was in charge of the institutional business in PhillipCapital where he was responsible for the mergers and acquisitions as well as the debt capital market business. He also holds directorships in various member companies of PhillipCapital.

Before PhillipCapital, Soon Kie was with the Schroder Group in South East Asia for 17 years since 1984, holding various senior appointments, including Head of Fixed Income (Asia) as well as Managing Director and Country Head for Schroders (Thailand) Limited. In his capacity as Managing Director and Country Head in Thailand, he was responsible for cross border financing and mergers and acquisitions.

Soon Kie was also appointed to the Board of Directors of Schroder International Merchant Bankers Limited ("SIMBL"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Schroders PLC. He was also a member of both the regional credit committee and the market and liquidity risk committee of SIMBL.
Chua Chye Seng, General Manager, IFS Capital Limited

Chye Seng is currently a member of the Management Committee and Credit Committee as well as a director of IFS Capital (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. As General Manager, he holds overall responsibility for the four main business segments of IFS, Commercial Finance, Structured Finance, Alternative Finance and the Principal Investment Group.

Chye Seng started as an auditor in Ernst & Young and subsequently built an extensive career in investment banking. He has more than 18 years of transactional experience with institutions such as Credit Suisse First Boston, Schroders, UOB Asia Ltd and OCBC.

Chye Seng holds a Master of Applied Finance from the University of Adelaide and a Bachelor of Financial Administration from the University of New England. He is a Member of the Certified Practising Accountants of Australia.
Chew Eng Han, Co-Head, Principal Investment Group

Eng Han has 24 years of financial markets experience trading foreign exchange, interest rate and currency swaps, equities (Asian and global), equity index futures and options, as well as gold, silver, oil and other commodities.

The institutions in which he has worked include JP Morgan, OCBC, NTUC Income (third largest local insurer) and State Street Bank. His role in State Street was multi-faceted; as CEO of the Singapore Bank Branch and Head of Global Markets, as well as director of SSgA ( State Street Global Advisors). The global markets role was an advisory role to sovereign funds (like GIC, Temasek, Brunei Investment Agency), central banks (MAS, Bank Negara, Bank of Thailand) and fund managers. SSgA is an asset management arm which offers fund management products such as ETFs and traditional discretionary funds. Eng Han’s role as CEO of the bank also involved reporting to MAS on legal, regulatory and operational compliance issues.
Kenneth Goh, Co-Head, Principal Investment Group

Kenneth has 11 years of experience in the wealth management sphere. He was Head of Private Banking at Bangkok Bank and took on senior roles in institutions such as Merrill Lynch and Schroders. A successful entrepreneur, he has started several new businesses. He was the co-founder of a lifestyle listed company, Lifebrandz. He has experience in the marketing of funds and financial products to high net worth individuals.
Stuart Gray, Principal, Principal Investment Group

Stuart has 22 years experience in banking and financial markets specializing in structured finance, private equity and infrastructure. Prior to taking on his role with IFS, he was CEO of Babcock & Brown in Singapore where he headed a team of 25 personnel focusing on infrastructure and private equity. Stuart was Managing Director- Debt Capital Markets at Societe Generale in Australia where he managed A$10 billion of assets and held the position of Executive Director Utilities at Goldman Sachs Australia LLC. Stuart has a B.Comm (Hons) from the University of New South Wales and was awarded the University Medal in Finance.
